This is my third project as guest design team member for Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog. Our challenge this week is: You've been spotted: use dots! I was given this darling image and decided to use it to create an Easter treat bag.
This is a simple project to make. I used a small white bag sandwiched between two rectangular DP pieces. The bottom half of the DP was embossed. I cut out the image with a Spellbinder die then colored her, paper pieced her dress and distressed the edges. The handle of the treat bad is a Stampin Up punch. Ribbons, flower, pearls and a sentiment was added.
Recipe:
DP: TJMax
Image: Lauretta's @ Craft Your Passion
Michael's: Flowers, ribbons, pearls and small white bags
Sentiment: G Stamps
Colored: Copic Markers
Embossing: Cuttlebug embossing folder
Spellbinders: Oval cut out with image
Distressing ink: CTMH
I have to admit that I saw a similar treat bag somewhere on the internet. However, I did not save it and couldn't find the source. Please let me know if you know the original source and I will post it.
I hope I have inspired you to create something with dots and enter your paper craft into our current challenge. When you have completed your project, just click HERE to enter.
