Marcia: My Christmas Card

This was the Christmas card that I made for my "card worthy" friends!  Most everyone received a photo card of my kids (because the thought of making 50 cards just completely overwhelms me), but for those I know appreciate and look forward to my cards - I made these!
Materials used:
Penny Black "an eggnog" stamp
Copic markers - love them, wish I had more!!
CTMH Dutch Blue CS
Paper by: Daisy D's and Kaiser Craft
Prisma glitter
Fiskar boarder punch

Marcia: Artful Legacy Stamp

This card was made from inspiration found on a trip to Myrtle Beach a few summers ago!  Mom took me to the Artful Legacy store while we were in SC.  They make their own stamps!  I purchased this one, came home and whipped up a batch of thank you and get well cards (just changed the ribbon slide on the front)!
Materials used:
Artful Legacy daisy stamp
CTMH papers & cranberry ink
Cream colored organdy ribbon
Cuttle Bug ribbon slide die
* The flower was made by paper piecing with several different sheets of patterned paper

Marcia: Tree Tops 4x6

This 4x6 can be made into a card front or used in a scrapbook layout.  It was one of our January club projects.
Materials used:
CTMH Products:
Tree Tops stamp set
Garden green CS & ink
Creme Brulee CS
Creative Basics Paper Pack Veranda
Liquid Glass ( it was used to shine the bubble trees & attach the buttons)

Martha Stewart Boarder Punch
Various Buttons
scotch tape technique with prisma glitter under boarder punch (hard to see in photos, pretty in person)

Marcia's First Post!

Mom (Barb) introduced me to rubber stamps a long time ago and I have been hooked ever since.  Together we love going to a local stamp store and the annual Creating Keepsakes convention for inspiration.  Being an independent Close To My Heart Consultant, I also look to my fellow consultants for ideas as well.  I currently have two clubs of ladies that meet once a month and have been with me for quite some time (Mom is an honorary member!).  These ladies give me the desire to keep learning and growing as an artist.  I will post some of our recent club projects soon.

Mom & I look forward to sharing our passion with you and hope that you will share your ideas and creations with us!

Stop back to see us soon,
Marcia
