When I received CJ's new image, I knew just what I wanted to create with it. This card is called a
"Spring Card." (The directions for making it can be found below in the RECIPE.) We were to add lots of bling to our project. I started with this fancy DP and paper pieced some of the feathers.  The other feathers were the reverse side of this paper.I added the foil leaf stickers and used glitter for the sentiment as well as the waddle. I outlined the feathers with a black Gelly Roll pen.The coloring was done with prisma pencils blended with odorless mineral spirits. I trimmed some of the card with a gold leafing pen. I can picture this at each place setting on a Thanksgiving table!! (Guess I better get crafting!)

Barbara: Halloween Treats

I wanted to make a little"Halloween Treat" for some special friends. I was browsing in the Dollar Tree and happened to see these little clear plastic treat boxes in the baby shower section. I removed the pink ribbon and the creative juices began to flow!!  I stamped the images with white chalk ink and colored them with Prisma Pencils...easy peasy!!! You can almost see the little tag on two of them that says "Happy Halloween." on the other box, the purple ribbon says "Happy Halloween."  I filled them with some little chocolate treats and wrapped the box with decorative ribbon. I hope they will enjoy a little Halloween cheer.

Barbara: Girly Girl 10/10

The Cowgirl Posse at Cowgirl Sunday Stampen Challenge invite you to join us in another weekly challenge.  This is a "Girly Girl" Challenge. Please use pink with green or purple and include pearls on your project.

Girly Girl is one of my favorite challenges. I have a granddaughter who is very much a "girly girl" and she helped me design this card. I colored first with copic markers then highlighted with Prisma Pencils. (Notice the red streaks in her hair!) I also paper pieced her dress and the cup. I LOVE the new Viva Pearl pen and the indescent glitter liner. They just make this image pop. There is plenty of room inside to stamp a sentiment or write a little note.

The sponsor for this week is: PollyCraft.  The winner of this challenge will receive a $10.00 Voucher to spend at the Pollycraft store. The top 3 winners will each receive 1 image of choice from CJ.

Recipe: Image- CJ's. Tea Cup Fairy digital stamp.

Marcia: Halloween Spider Treat

This project was our second project for my stamp club. This is such an easy project that I am going to make these for my daughter's kindergarten class for their Halloween party. I am sure she will want to help make them too.  First I cut the Halloween DP with a scalloped circle punch then cut a black cardstock circle and placed it on top. The legs were small strips of cardstock, just bend the legs a little at the end. Finally add the googly eyes and attach to a lollipop (this one is the caramel/apple pops, so yummy!). You could even add a bow on the stick if you wish. Notice that I even tried to stage this photo!!!!

Special thanks to CTMH consultant "Cassie" who created the original design of this project.  This and other Halloween projects can be viewed by heading to the CTMH Halloween blog hop.  Head to Tresa Black's bog to begin:   http://www.fabulouslyartsy.com/2010/09/halloween-hop.html

Recipe: DP: JoAnn Fabrics
Scallop circle and plain circle punches
            Eyes: Michael's

Marcia: Paperbag Halloween Card

This darling card was our project for my last stamp club. It was fashioned from a lunch sized paper bag!!! It turned out so cute, Everyone just loved it. We folded the bag, flap inside almost in half, leaving just a little flap to tuck in under the ribbon. The inside and outside edges were swiped with black ink to give the distressed look. The raw edges of the flap were trimmed to neaten it. A flap holder was created with a piece of black cardstock and embellished with ribbons.  The second picture shows the inside of this card and the poem that was glued inside.

Special thanks to Aaron Brown's YouTube video on how to create the paper bag card, as well as Vicki Wizniuk's (CTMH consultant) for inspiring this design.  http://wizardshangout.blogspot.com/2010/09/paper-bag-card.html

What are your waiting for???? But first, please finish my blog :)

I found this adorable template on line and couldn't wait to make this treat bag. It was so easy. I cut the bag from black cardstock, added the eyelets, and wove ribbon through to tie the bag together. Easy Peasy!!! The digital stamp is one of CJ's new releases. I colored it with copic markers and even did some paper piecing. The oval was cut from a Cuttlebug die and trimed with a Kyrlon gold leaf pen. I added some bling by using a gelly roller pen to make the black buttons and stitching.  On the back of the bag, I added a free digital image. When making your treat bag, don't forget to add a special treat. (I used 2 mini Rittersport candies.(Yum Yum) They actually are a little too large for this treat bag...but it works. Probably a few Hershey Kisses would work better. I hope my granddaughter's teacher will like this treat. You can tell that I like to spoil teachers! Believe me...one can never spoil a teacher too much...they are hard working, caring souls. (I even tried to stage this photo..the apple!)

Barb: "Boo To You"

I am so proud to be chosen as a Guest Designer for Your Next Stamp. The Theme this week is "Grow Your Own." We were to make our own flowers. On this Easel card, I made three flowers. Two flowers were made with punches and the other flower was an accordian fold flower. The middle flower is actually a sticker. The leaves were die cut leaves that I colored using stamp pad ink. I added shiny black and silver embellishments with Gelly Roll pens then added pearls with a peal pen. I also did some paper piecing on her had and dress. I colored her with copic markers. and swiped the edges of the white cardstock.
