Challenge #114 We were so excited to have over 200 gorgeous entries for our last challenge at The Crafty Pad. We all must be lovin digi images:) We hope you will enjoy this challenge equally as well. The challenge this week is:
"Mother's Day."
It is not too early to think about Mom and how you will share what she means to you. Several of you will be making many Mother's Day cards for women who have or had an important part in your life. So let's begin!!
I had so much fun designing this card: I call it a "Screen Door Card."
I took several pictures so that you could see both the outside and inside.
Recipe:
Image: Debbie @ The Crafty Pad -I cut apart this image and placed the boy outside the screen door
DP: Michael's
Screen Door: Buffalo Stamps and Stuff had this die specifically made for them. I purchased a package that included the door frames and screens. http://buffalostampsandstuff.blogspot.com/ ( If you decide to order from Sharon @ Buffalo Stamps, please tell her Barbara sent you!)
Tim Holtz's white crackle paint used on the door frame, then sponged with ranger ink
Paper Piecing: Mom's pillow
Colored: Copic Markers
Sentiment: Free digital stamp, sorry I do not remember who did this stamp
Gelly Roll Pen used on Mom's slippers
Glitter: Mom's fur on her robe
Our sponsor this week is:
The winner of our weekly challenge will choose 3 digis of their choice from Crafty Sentiments.
