We want to thank all of you who participated in our Anything Goes Challenge, last week at Craft Your Passion. I am not sure if it was a record of entries for them but it was for me. I still have a few visits to make! This week our challenge is Use two of something. Here is my take on Two by Two:
I have used two pink ties, two butterflies and two dimensional elements on this card.
This card is called a tri-step card.
I have seen several examples of this tri-step card but had not tried one before. It really is quite simple. For directions just click HERE. Follow direction then just have fun and decorate! The CS and DP were actually from several completed projects. I was able to coordinate them for this card. The image was colored with copic markers then I colored another skirt, popped it up for dimension and added stickles to the waist. The shoes were also colored then black stickles were applied. A light gray copic marker was used for the girl's shadow then I sponged the background of the image with blue and green stamp pad ink. After the flowers were colored with a bright pink copic, the centers were touched with a Gelly roll glitter pen. I colored the grungeboard with bright pink copic markers also then covered most of it with a gold leafing pen. The butterfly on the upper right has been cut off the side of the image and repositioned. It was also layered.
Recipe:
Michael's- CS,DP, Ribbon, Flowers
Dimensional Elements: Tim Holtz, Ideaology grunge board
Krylon Gold Leafing Pen
Stickles: yellow & black
Copic Markers
Stamp Pads: CTMH
Martha Stewart butterfly punch
Image: Coco dingo
Sentiment: free digi stamp, author unknown
Gelly Roll pen
