How are your holiday plans coming along? When I think I am ready, I remember something else that I just HAVE to do! With that in mind, I have just the perfect little craft that you can make now and use throughout the holiday season. My Grafico sent these wonderful images for us to use in a craft. The current challenge is "Cocktail Party." This challenge ends on December 30th.
The fact that they are already colored makes them extra easy. I remember how easy it is to forget which glass is yours, having charms to put on each glass is much more elegant than writing a name with a marker. You could also have your guests write their names on the back on these charms/tags, just in case they forget which tag they had :)
These charms/tags are sooo easy to make. After running the images off onto cardstock, I used a Marvy punch to punch out each image. The edges of the tag were inked with gold pigment ink then distressed with a CTMH distressing tool. Finally, I added a ribbon from my treasury of ribbon to a ring, which is actually a pierced earring ring, from Michael's. This project is easy, inexpensive, and useful. Make them for yourself or give them as part of a hostess gift. Being handmade, I am sure they will be appreciated.
I hope that I have inspired you to take a few minutes to find some time to do something you love this week. When you have completed your project click HERE to enter into the My Grafico Challenge. Please feel free to leave a comment. I read each of them! Would love it if you would follow this blog also. Have a wonderful holiday and a blessed new year. Hope to see you again in 2012.

What a fabulous idea! I hate it when I put down my glass(because I'm prepping fresh snacks or dancing) only to come back and someone else is drinking out of my glass...blah! :D
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful party season Barbabra :D XXX
Cute little tags. Also serve as an icebreaker with peoples names on the tags. Nothing worse than being at a party and not knowing who anyone else is. I wish there was a blog for listing swaps but I don't know of any. I just keep my eyes peeled as I surf the web and other blogs. When I come across any would you like me to let you know? I already do this for a few other bloggers. Happy Christmas to you. Hugs Mrs A.

Hi Barbara! It was so cool to see your smiling avatar at my blog yesterday, thanks so much for your sweet comment :) Went back on Black Friday and got 4 more Copics with my early bird coupon...too bad one was a duplicate, ergh! These wine charms are the coolest ever! Maybe I'll make one for my husband and I tonight so we don't get our glasses mixed up here at home, hee hee...it'll be a quiet one here in Avon :)! Happy New Year to you!
