Fairy Buttercup

Happy Monday!! Are you ready for the first February challenge at My Grafico Crafts ? This week we received this darling image: Fairy Buttercup. Isn't she just precious?

When I saw her, I immediately thought of a very special girl who is having her seventh birthday. So a Birthday card it was....
I haven't used chalk as a coloring medium in awhile and  wanted a soft look...so chalk it was. A little sparkle was added using a gelly roll pen. The tag and inner circle were cut with my new Cricut. The sentiment was a free digital sentiment, wish I knew who to give credit to. The DP was from my collection. The base card was from a G package of cards at Michael's. I did pop up the Fairy's head to give it some dimension and added some bling to her toes!
Here is a close up shot. You can see the sparkle, just a little.

Thank you so much for visiting. I hope that I have inspired you to create something fun this week.  If you are interested in the current challenge at My Grafico Crafts, you can just click  HERE   for all the information. 7. What a fun card this is! This image is just adorable and the coloring really is pretty and soft. Believe it or not, I never thought to used chalk to color a whole image. It really is pretty. The glitter pen did a wonderful job on the wings too.

I really LOVE the sentiment. It goes so well with the rest of the card.
