Top o’ the morning to you! (or afternoon or evening depending on what time you read this) It’s time for a new challenge at My Grafico ! Our theme for this challenge is St. Patrick’s Day. Enter for a chance to win a St. Patrick’s Day stamp set by Stockberry Studio. Entries will be accepted until March 16th, midnight.
I crafted a March CD calendar page. This was such an exciting set to use. I chose the rainbow, the pot of gold and one of the darling leprechauns to use in my project.
If you look closely, you will see the the little leprechaun moves!! Clever, right??
Once I decided on the background DP, the rest of the calendar page was so easy to complete. I added Baker's twine and a polka dot ribbon as well as a little bling on the noted: St. Patrick's Day.
Calendar Recipe:
Background DP, polka dot ribbon and bling: Michael's
Baker's Twine
Distressing: Chalk Pad ink pad
Yellow Stickles: on the gold in the pot of gold
Thank you for visiting this blog. I hope that I have inspired you to create a CD calendar. I designed calendar pages for January, February, and March. I made 4 of each month and gave them to 3 of my crafting friends. I have attached the next six month so that you could see them and how different our crafting styles are. This has been such a rewarding venture for me. Just scroll down to see the calendar pages for the next six months. Please feel free to leave a comment and/or follow this blog. I love reading your words of encouragement. Have a wonderful week and please find some time to do something fun for just you:)

Love your August & September pages. They are so zingy and fresh looking. You asked me Q's on the altered book that I made. sorry for not replying sooner but life has been rather hectic this last 2 weeks with Mum taken into hosiptal and Dad having to be placed in a care home.
ReplyDeleteI finally got the pages to stick together around the edges using Glossy accents and the InKa Gold. First try was with 15 pages but in the end I completly removed 5 pages from the centres thus making it 10 pages to one new page. That seemed to work quite well and obviously removed the bulk from the finished book. Hugs Mrs A.
Loving this calendar project! I saw it on MIM!

ReplyDeleteYour calender is so cute! I also wanted to tell you that it is powdered chalk so it is so different to work with. You can also mix it with white paint and it is even more beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI mix a little in a spray botte with water and I have any shimmer color I need. There is a sale now for 4 colors for $6 plus shipping. It is a great deal if you want to try it.
