Our challenge this week at The Crafty Pad is : Something for the Boys. I love this darling image and decided to use shades of blue with just a spark of orange (my favorite colors) for a contrast.
I love the layering on this card and the small bow added just a special touch. I tried paper piercing for the first time. It was fun and I am sure will improve with practice. After coloring the "Party" banner, I used liquid glass to add shine and dimension. The orange card stock design on the left was colored with Copic Markers. It was designed to show the dots...clever isn't it? It was a nice surprise! I also dotted the image at the bottom of the page.
Recipe:
Image: Meeces from Debbie at the crafty pad stamp designs
DP & ribbon: From my collection of UDPP (Unused Designer Paper Pieces)
Coloring: Copic Markers
Shine: CTMH liquid glass
Paper piercing: CTMH tool and pad
