Barbara: Butterfly

I made the Top 3 at Gingerloft Challenges!!!!! I was asked to be a GD for their next challenge. This is the card that I submitted:

I had so much fun using the pearl paints that I purchased awhile ago but forgot about them. By mixing and shading, I think that the butterfly and the flower almost look real :) The card fold is called a frame fold. This is the first time I have used this technique. I wanted something simple to frame the image. Thanks to Splitcoast tutorials, you can find their tutorial HERE.

  4. Barbara, I love this fold. Always looking for ideas for BSS blog spot, might have to do this sometime. The flower and butterfly do look real, really nice. I did see the screen door cards, so cute, don't have any of them though.
