Barbara: Snowflakes

This is the 99th challenge at  The Crafty Pad  this week...and the challenge  is  Snowflakes....


The weather outside is ...not quite frightful but it is snowing. Right in time for the holiday season. This image is from Debbie at The Crafty Pad  I just love it. Snowmen are so much fun to make and decorate with. I am trying to shade creatively and not sure if this turned out quite like I imagined it. I do love the sponging on the edges and the layering. This sparkly  DP was just perfect for this image. I had to add just a little bling on the outside of the card. Since this is a 5"x7" card, I felt that I needed to decorate the inside of this card also. I added some designer paper, a sentiment, and a few vellum snowflakes.

Punch: EK
Embossing: on navy blue paper under image. using The Score Pad
Ink: CTMH
Liquid Applique was used under the snowmen.

    Good morning Barbara - the card was not a template, but a technique cd I used from Technique Junkies. The cd has over 60 different step by step pictorial techniques all in one place!
